Obscure Technologies creating new roles to cater for growth

Robust and consistent progression in market share is a sure sign of growth in a business but it also requires clear strategic aspirations and a coherent set of growth initiatives being driven by the right people. This is according to Justin Lee, Managing Director, Obscure Technologies.

Obscure Technologies is a business comprised of cyber security experts delivering unified security products to the market and providing exceptional vendor support through the strength of its global vendor relationships. The company specialises in brokering dynamic, globally leading, security solutions supported by its incomparable technical expertise plus experience and an education-first approach.

Lee cites Obscure’s outstanding partner associations over the years as a significant factor in the achievement of the current growth. “The continued support of our partners has been instrumental in the creation of new roles within the company which are designed to further strengthen our service levels to them.

“In this regard, we have created two new executive roles to cater for the growth we are experiencing. We have appointed Cameron Losco – an ICT professional with decades of experience in both the technical and business arenas – Head of Sales. Cameron will be responsible for the full sales portfolio at Obscure Technologies.

“Additionally, Calum Rosenberg has been appointed Partner Sales Executive, where he will focus on our business partner relationships. Calum is an experienced Security Sales Specialist with a formidable background in the information technology and services industry and a history of strong customer and partner relationships.” Both executive appointments are with immediate effect.

Lee confirms these appointments aim to support the company’s bold development objectives. “Growth is at the top of the agenda for all businesses, as it creates value and benefits both the organisation and customers, whilst at the same time opening up new opportunities for employees.”

Founded in 2016, Obscure Technologies has steadily grown its global vendor portfolio, partner programme and market share. “Obscure Technologies was founded by individuals hailing from senior positions at global vendor companies – this underpins our exceptional vendor support due to the strength of these relationships. We feel our education-first approach has ultimately been the cornerstone of our success and will be the key differentiator that sets Obscure Technologies apart from the competition.

“Whilst many companies might comment that they were lucky to experience growth, especially amid a pandemic and exceptional business conditions, we prefer to note that luck had nothing to do with it. This success is the direct result of a focused drive to be the best in the market and acquire and retain the best skills to support our initiatives,” concludes Lee.
